SMall group classes
What to expect
Small group classes involve a fun variety of effective workouts with a mixture strength and endurance training, as well as core strength and flexibility. There is also a major emphasis on correct lifting technique to avoid injury.
Each class has a maximum of 8 participants, which allows your trainer to keep an eye on your form. Other large gyms will fit up to 30 people in a class with 1 trainer and have no emphasis on lifting technique, which can increase the likelihood of injury and decrease the effectiveness of the workouts.
Each session is focused around a particular muscle group. Muscle groups involved are…
Push (chest, shoulders, triceps)
Pull (back and biceps)
Legs (Glutes, quads and hamstrings)
All sessions involve and element of core and stretching also.
Workouts are more centralised around dumbbells, resistance bands, cable machines and body weight exercises.
These sessions are more of a circuit based style with high volume. These classes will make you sweat and ‘feel the burn’. You’ll also enjoy meeting others our classes, which adds a social element to your training.
Small group classes are suited to those who…
